Advancing Manufacturing Technologies
in Northeast Ohio

Northeast Ohio

The Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Research Innovation Institute (AMARII) was established to advance manufacturing technologies in northeast Ohio.

Its mission is to solicit ideas for projects that, if successful, will enhance northeast Ohio companies’ technologies to make them more competitive and encourage job retention and growth. Examples of technologies AMARII will be supporting include advanced manufacturing (including additive manufacturing), metrology, automation, artificial intelligence/augmented reality, Industry 4.0, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and digital thread.

AMARII will assess these potential projects from the region for the purpose of determining if it is feasible to assist organizations by searching for potential funding sources from the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), state, regional, and local funding.
